Petrol and Diesel Prices Today: Currently, the country is facing a significant rise in inflation, particularly affecting the prices of petrol and diesel. This surge in prices has had a deep impact on the pockets of the common people. However, today, on June 30th, there is some good news regarding the prices of petrol and diesel.

Indian oil companies have released the information regarding the prices of petrol and diesel for June 30, 2023. There have been no changes in the prices today. It marks the 404th day without any alteration in the prices of petrol and diesel.

It’s worth mentioning that the last change in fuel prices was observed on May 22, 2022. On that day, Delhi witnessed a decrease of ₹8.69 per liter in petrol prices and a reduction of ₹7.05 per liter in diesel prices. Despite more than a year passing since then, the absence of price hikes in fuels is good news for the public.

It should also be noted that the price of crude oil in the international market was approximately $100 per barrel in May 2022. Today, the price of crude oil has decreased to around $70 per barrel. Even though international prices are down by almost 30$, no price reduction for petrol and diesel is indeed surprising.

For your information, the current price of petrol in Delhi is ₹96.72 per liter, while diesel is being sold at ₹89.62 per liter. In Mumbai, the price of petrol is ₹106.31 per liter, and diesel is priced at ₹94.27 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at ₹106.03 per liter, and diesel is sold at ₹92.76 per liter.

The prices of petrol and diesel change daily and are updated by 6 a.m. Additionally, you can also receive price information via SMS. Indian Oil customers need to send an SMS to 9224992249 with the city code followed by “RSP.” BPCL customers should send an SMS to 9223112222 with “RSP,” and HPCL customers can send an SMS to 9222201122 with “HP Price” to receive the latest fuel price updates.
