OMG 2: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has announced that the much-awaited teaser of OMG 2 will be released on 11th July, a month prior to the film’s release on 11th August. OMG 2 is a satirical comedy film and a sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2012 hit movie, “OMG- Oh My God!” Last week, Akshay Kumar released the poster of the upcoming film, revealing his avatar as Lord Shiva. The film is expected to feature the talented Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi in prominent roles.

In a captivating video, Akshay Kumar revealed the teaser release date while striding purposefully towards the camera, embodying the powerful persona of Lord Shiva. The backdrop resonated with the reverberating chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’, adding to the intrigue and anticipation surrounding the film.

OMG 2 is a sequel to the 2012 film, where Paresh Rawal’s character filed a lawsuit against God, with Akshay Kumar portraying Lord Krishna. The sequel, co-produced by Akshay’s Cape of Good Films and Viacom18 Studios, promises a mix of fresh and old cast members. Alongside Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi, Govind Namdev, who played the role of Sadhu in the original film, will also make an appearance in OMG 2. Moreover, the film will bring back Arun Govil, known for his portrayal of Lord Ram, adding another intriguing element to the story.

Interestingly, OMG 2 is set to clash with another highly anticipated sequel, Gadar 2, which is also scheduled to release on 11th August. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel will once again portray their iconic characters, Tara Singh and Sakina, in this sequel. Directed by Anil, who helmed the original film as well, Gadar 2 is co-produced by Zee Studios. The movie will also feature Anil’s son, Utkarsh Sharma, in a significant supporting role, further elevating the star-studded cast.
