Mumbai-Nagpur Bus Accident: A devastating incident unfolded on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway in Buldhana, Maharashtra, resulting in the loss of at least 25 lives. The unfortunate event occurred in the early hours of Saturday, around 2 am, when a bus traveling from Yavatmal to Pune caught fire.
According to the driver’s account, the accident happened due to a tire bursting, which resulted in a fire engulfing the bus. Subsequently, the diesel tank of the vehicle also caught fire. Among the fatalities, there were three children, while the others who lost their lives were adults.

Authorities have reported that 25 bodies have been recovered from the burnt bus, which was carrying a total of 32 passengers. Additionally, 6 to 8 individuals have sustained injuries and are being transported to the Buldhana Civil Hospital for medical attention, according to Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni of the Buldhana Police, as quoted by the news agency ANI.

The news of this tragedy has deeply saddened the community, as lives were unexpectedly cut short on what should have been a routine journey. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and authorities are diligently working to gather more information surrounding this heart-wrenching incident.
