Unemployment Allowance

If you are unemployed, the government will give you 10,000 rupees per month. There are several states in our country that are providing unemployment allowance (berojgari bhatta) per month to youth through this type of schemes.

Under this scheme, the government will give unemployed individuals 10,000 rupees per month. Along with that, they will also provide them with training so that they can find employment opportunities. This scheme is called the “Chief Minister Learn and Earn Scheme” and is being implemented in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh government has initiated this scheme for unemployed youth. They will receive training according to their skills, and they will also be given a stipend for it.

You can only avail the benefits of this scheme if you fulfill all the conditions. Firstly, you must be between 18 and 29 years old. Secondly, you should have completed your education up to the 12th grade.

Under the scheme, unemployed individuals will receive a stipend of 8,000 to 10,000 rupees per month. The Cabinet approved this scheme on May 17, 2023.

You can register for the scheme from June 15 to July 15. After that, you will be provided with training. To avail the benefits of the scheme, you will need to register on the portal.

You will only receive the benefits once you undergo training in a specific subject. You will need to prepare yourself for employment opportunities. The subjects include arts, media, chartered accounting, writing, insurance, banking, software development, railways, IT sector, hospital and nursing courts, hotel management, marketing, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, legal and law services. You will need to undergo training in these subjects, and the government will provide you with an amount ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 rupees.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, you can register on the following portal: yuvaportal.mp.gov.in.

Similar schemes for unemployed youth are implemented in many states across the country. In Rajasthan, it is known as the “Yuva Sambal Yojana” initiated by the state government. Andhra Pradesh has the “NTR Nirudyog Bruthi Scheme,” and in Karnataka, the “Yuva Nidhi Yojana” is being implemented by the government.

The central government is implementing the “Yuva Kaushal Vikas Yojana,” which provides training in your field of interest but does not offer unemployment allowance.
